Jonesborough Repertory Theatre offers a Special Valentine Dinner and a Show Package. During Jonesborough Repertory Theatre’s production of the regional premier of S’Wonderful, couples can make the experience even more memorable with the “Dinner and a Show Special.” First, eat at The Dining Room located in Historic Jonesborough. Next, see the magical music and lyrics of George and Ira Gershwin, considered one of the most successful songwriting teams in the history of popular music, come alive on the JRT stage. “We are so excited to partner with The Dining Room for the first time on this type of venture,” said Artistic Director Alaska Reece Vance. “It gives our theatre patrons a way to make seeing S’Wonderful even more special. And what a unique Valentine’s surprise!” The package cost is $70 and available for a limited time, Feb. 9th through 11th. Dinner for two includes appetizer, entrée, dessert and drink with two seating times available at 6 and 6:30 p.m. followed by reserved seating and VIP treatment at the JRT’s production of ‘S Wonderful at 8 p.m. To purchase tickets, call 423.753.1010.

‘S Wonderful opens Feb. 2nd and runs through Feb. 12th with shows at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday; matinees on Saturdays at 3 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. and a special Sunday evening performance at 7 p.m. Tickets for the play only are $14 general admission and $12 for students and seniors.
