Christy Alaska Reece Vance

Christy Alaska holds an MFA in Acting from Regent University and a BA from ETSU.  She has directed over thirty plays, many in the tri cities area.  She was recently awarded an Overall Excellence Award in Directing at the New York International Fringe Festival for work on her original musical The Disorientation of Butterflies. She serves as a director and actor with The Drifting Theatre which spends summers touring the East Coast and Midwest and conducting Actor Training Programs.  Alaska is an avid playwright and enjoys being involved in a wide variety of theatrical arts.
